Raila Claims Namwamba will Not to be Re-elected since he Ditched ODM
Ababu Namwamba former Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) secretary general, has told off NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga, after the former Prime Minister said Namwamba does not stand a chance at re-election since he ditched the party.
A furious Namwamba told off Raila, claiming the two terms he stood to be elected and won, he did so on his own.
Observers suggest that ODM will nominate Raphael Wanjala to vie against Namwamba in the August polls.
An unshaken Namwamba dared ODM to nominate Wanjala, saying he would beat him without even campaigning.
He reiterated that ODM’s popularity in Busia was on a steady decline especially following Paul Otuoma’s exit from ODM to vie as an independent candidate.

Odinga, while campaigning in Busia, claimed that the Budalang’i MP only assumed office because he had backing from ODM, only for him to ditch the party.“I heard him (Raila) say he held my hand. Where? I’m the one who campaigned rigorously,” Namwamba said.
