Raila Alleges Plot by IEBC to Print Out Extra Ballot Papers

NASA presidential Candidate Raila Odinga
IEBC Accused of Colluding with Printing Firm to Rig Votes
National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga, has alleged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) intends to print out extra ballot papers in order to tip the August 8, 2017 General Election against his favour.
Mr Odinga alleged that two million extra votes were cast in 2013 and the same printing firm contracted in 2013 to print out ballot papers is the same one contracted this year. This is the reasons the opposition has taken IEBC to court.
“We now know the truth. Everybody knows what they did in 2013 concerning printing of ballot papers. That’s why they want this company to print extra ballot papers,” said Mr Odinga.
Speaking while receiving a delegation of leaders from Kiambu County on Monday ahead of his planned visit slated for Tuesday, Mr Odinga expressed his optimism of winning over voters in the voter-rich region which boasts of having over one million registered voters.
“NASA represent the face of Kenya. This country is going to face a social economic revolution. We are in a process of transforming our country. We want to tell our opponents that change is coming. Jubilee can’t win. We are going to talk about issues affecting Kenyans. We will tell them we have solutions,” said Raila.

“August 8 will mark the beginning of the change we as NASA intend to bring to the country,” said Raila Odinga.
